Queenstown is the exhilaration capital of the world but I would recommend these two fantastic ways to experience the beauty of it. Take the vintage Steamship, across Lake Wakatipu, to Walter Peak High Country Farm and take the Skyline Gondola to the viewing platform that overlooks Queenstown and the surrounding area.

The best hotel from which to explore the wonders of Monterey Bay is Casa Munras. Rich in history , it offers modern amenities and conveniences while letting you enjoy a stay in what began life as a Spanish hacienda. I recently drove from the South to the Midwest and back again. It has been quite a while since I’ve driven a long distance (about 1,000 miles each way) and it caused me to remember why I don’t like to take such trips anymore. Nonetheless, I have assembled a “Top 10″ list of the basic driving habits that really irritates me and, if corrected, would make driving a lot more bearable for all of us. The tourist season in Croatia has kicked off with a good start. Over the next couple of months the life on the Adriatic coast becomes one hectic beehive.

Down in the deep south, Dubrovnik becomes an open stage where the rich, the famous, the wannabees mingle together during Dubrovnik Festival and where joy and laughter can be heard at every street corner. What is more, the life in the Old Town never ceases to stop. The hordes of night birds are replaced by ever excited tourists from the visiting cruisers. Mesmerizing looks on their faces are truly justifying Bernard Shaw’s famous sentence comparing Dubrovnik to paradise.
City wall walk is on a must to do list of every cruiser tourist. Do not forget to take some water with you as the heat can get the better of you. Also, remember that you can safely withdraw local currency (kunas) from ATMs and what is more you can use your card safely at POS terminals.

We are into the latter part of summer, but that doesn’t mean many of us are not still traveling on vacations. Here are a few last minute tips to help you out.

Recent regulation changes have been implemented that require you to have a passport to reenter the US from practically any country. This includes Mexico and Canada. The new regulation has led to a massive backlog, so make sure you have a current passport. If you need a new one, find out how long it will take and any exceptions that might apply to your destination.
