The tourist season in Croatia has kicked off with a good start. Over the next couple of months the life on the Adriatic coast becomes one hectic beehive.

Down in the deep south, Dubrovnik becomes an open stage where the rich, the famous, the wannabees mingle together during Dubrovnik Festival and where joy and laughter can be heard at every street corner. What is more, the life in the Old Town never ceases to stop. The hordes of night birds are replaced by ever excited tourists from the visiting cruisers. Mesmerizing looks on their faces are truly justifying Bernard Shaw’s famous sentence comparing Dubrovnik to paradise.
City wall walk is on a must to do list of every cruiser tourist. Do not forget to take some water with you as the heat can get the better of you. Also, remember that you can safely withdraw local currency (kunas) from ATMs and what is more you can use your card safely at POS terminals.

London is one of the cultural capitals of Europe and has loads of sightseeing and activities for tourists of all ages. There are an innumerable amount of things to see and do in London but here are some “must see” sights that shouldn’t be left out of your travel itinerary.

The British Museum is vast and is so big that seeing everything in one day is near impossible. The Greek and Egyptian exhibits are especially impressive and are considered by some to be the best permanent museum installations of their kind.

Cruises may still be associated with older travelers, but the times when older travelers are the only ones enjoying a cruise vacation are long passed. A cruise is an extremely attractive option for anyone seeking to escape from the demands of work and everyday life. Fortunately, cruise lines now offer a variety of programs allowing them to meet the holiday needs of any traveler’s lifestyle and preferences. Cruising is no longer about simply showing off your new wardrobe, playing shuffleboard or socializing in the lounge. These may all be great parts of a cruise vacation, but there is a wide range of activities and amenities perfect for every traveler.

An outdoor vacation such as hiking can be a terrific getaway. Vacations like hiking are far different than other vacations which often require you to make travel reservations and find hotel accommodations. However, some hikers like to make a hike part of a larger vacation and rent a house by a lake. This is a great idea. But, hiking does require some extra precaution unlike other popular getaways to the beach or popular tourist attraction.

We scheduled a repositioning cruise on the Vision of the Seas from Los Angeles to Vancouver, BC and I had checked the website and found that NCL was offering a one-night Dinner & Dance cruise from Vancouver, BC to Seattle, WA for an unbelievable rate in a Balcony Cabin. Score!

This trip proved to be an adventure for a one-nighter. I am going to try and keep a light tone to this review but it was nasty, as several thousand cruisers can attest to.

Sometimes the worst part of the vacation planning is finding the right places to stay. For example, finding a Florida 5 Star resort sounds easy enough, but it depends upon where you plan to stay, what you plan to do, and how much money you plan to spend.

There are other factors that you have to view as well such as what kind of activities you want, the variety of onsite entertainment, the size of the rooms, if there are activities for children and teenagers if that is of concern to you, and what other types of services are included within the price of your stay.

The temple of the Emerald Buddha is located in a separate complex within the compound of the Grand Palace. This temple is considered to be Thailand’s holiest shrine. Officially the temple is called Wat Phra Si Rattanasatsadaram.

The temple of the Emerald Buddha is built along the same lines as the grand chapels from the Sukhothai and Ayutthaya eras, and no monks live within the temple.
